After a very emotional last night at home and saying a lot of difficult goodbyes, we headed off to big adventures.... First a little last minute packing, then showers (no point leaving dirty!) After that a few quick stops around town and then down to Randolph to tie up some loose ends. After that we headed down to White River Jct to try to find a GoPro camera but had no luck even after trying several stores. By that time it was already after eight pm and we were exhausted, we had to decide whether we should push on for another hour or so, or scoot back up north a little ways and get a good nights sleep at Nick's Dads house. We chose the later. It was a very good idea to wait and get a good nights rest. We plugged in an extension cord to the fish tank in the back of the car to run the heater and the filter. For those of you who don't know, we are traveling with a saltwater fish tank with 3 fish, live rock and a bunch of snails and hermit crabs. It was really nice to spend some time relaxing before getting a good nights sleep. We were much happier and more relaxed in the morning...a much better way to start out.

Katie, my talented and adorable niece, has started her first blog... I am so psyched... She and her boyfriend are heading for parts unknown on the "left coast"... Another great adventure for the two of them unfolds...
